They say, "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone," and I feel like yesterday definitely pushed my limits. For the past few months I've been really pushing myself physically in the gym, and with the weather being so good lately, I got to push myself outside. I can honestly say, I can't really move today. I'm sore all over and I think I bruised a toe, but I feel accomplished!
My friend Brian & I did a 7.2 mile hike, with a 2000ft. elevation gain. It wasn't easy, but it felt great to be outdoors, and the view at the top made all the sweat worth it! Not only that, I got to take advantage of another love of mine: photography. I brought along my 8mm fish eye lens on this trip and it turned out to be the perfect choice! It really allowed me to grab more of my view and add a bit of drama, all in one photo. :) I can't wait to go again!
I hope you're all having a great Summer so far! - JEN
