JANUARY 2015: MONTH IN REVIEW

I can't believe January is already over, and we're already delving into February. 

So far, I've felt like I've had a great start to the new year and the life I want to live, yet I have so much more to do and farther to go! In an effort to hike more, last month I splurged on official hiking boots, and made some new friends in the process. One of the girls at REI introduced me to a female hiking group for Pacific Northwesters, and on the 13th, we took on Mount Persis together. Last month I also went skiing again for the first time in 3 years, with my friend Shahrzad. I feel like I'm finally ready to take it to the next level and try some jumps (along with a purchase of a helmet of course). And last but not least, I've been working out more than I ever have before. Of course I don't have any new years resolutions to lose weight, but I want to create body I've always wanted (more on that later). I've also been running more, as part of my training for future runs I have plans for (like the color run and Disney runs). 

What have you guys done so far this year? Have you guys set out to do what you wanted to do yet, for this year? Any resolutions? All I know is, I can't wait to see what I can accomplish in the four short weeks that is February. Wish me luck! xo JEN
