Over the years I've come to really love BCBG Max Azria as a brand. Their silhouettes are always loose and minimalistic, yet feminine in their fabric's ability to move and drape body. I also love their whimsical choices of pattern and color. With Fall coming steadfast towards us, I just wanted to share some of my favorite looks from their Pre-Fall 2014 collection, that are inspiring me this season.
I've said this year after year, and I'll say it again, but I BCBG always holds my top spot for my favorite resort collections. It's not just the clothes, but the matter in which BCBG has chosen to shoot their lookbooks. Their clothes are extremely wearable for the everyday person, yet very high end, and are always shown with some type of movement that makes them esthetically pleasing. I can only dream of owning of their resort pieces one day! :) - JN

1. SANDRA BULLOCK in Alexander McQueen
I've always been a huge Sandra Bullock fan and she absolutely stunned in this dress last night! Navy isn't usually my go-to color, but after this, she's definitely proved me wrong and is totally repping it for us brunettes in the world. On top of that, I was so happy for her, to see Gravity win so many Oscars last night. I haven't seen it yet, but it's definitely on my to-watch list now!
2. ANGELINA JOLIE in Ellie Saab
No one can doubt that Angelina Jolie is one todays biggest style icons. Her philanthropy overwhelms my respect for her and this dress takes the cake as one of my favorite looks on her. It's like she's just dripping with class, glamour and such a strong presence, in an effortless way. Oh, and it doesn't hurt that she's got a very ageless looking Brad Pitt by her side. ;)
3. KATE HUDSON in Versace
I'm pretty sure I don't have to explain why Kate Hudson made it into my top 5. Even though she wasn't on the nomination list, I feel like she stole a bit of show for me, because she simply looks like a golden goddess in this dress. It suits her very well!
4. GIULIANA RANCIC in Paolo Sebastian
Now, if you must know, I always tune into the E red carpet pre-show, and last night I sat just in awe, for hours, at Giuliana's dress. As a host, I feel like her style choices are always on point and sometimes even more that the stars themselves. What I really love about her, too, is she often rocks the smaller and more upcoming designers. I could go on forever about her, but in short, Paolo Sebastian dress is just breathtakingly genius!
5. JARED LETO in Saint Laurent
I don't know whats better, Jared Leto's red bow-tie, or that beautiful hair flowing out of his head. Can you believe he's 42!? Only Jared Leto can make long hair like that look Oscar worthy. He looks amazing for his age and is career is still going strong, but what I love even about more about him now, is his acceptance speech for best supporting actor. He started with a story of about "a girl", which he eventually reveals is his mother. It was so beautiful and sweet of him. I can't wait to see him on Ellen tomorrow!
Well that wraps up my first post award show write-up. I don't normally do these, but after seeing these looks, I couldn't resist making them forever a part of my blog. I hope you guys enjoyed it!
P.S. If I could add one more look, it'd be Ellen DeGenerous in her Glinda costume ;)
I've always found that every collection that BCBG Maxazria puts out every season, never disappoints me, but it's their resort collections that always take my breath away. Their 2014 Resort collection features flirty light and dark pieces, with whimsical touches of florals, but it's their light pieces that area really inspiring what I'll be looking for when I'm shopping for my Hawaii trip this April. It's perfection!
If you could pick just one piece from the collection, what would you pick?

Hey loves! In four months, I'm headed to Hawaii for the first time ever, and it seems like it's all I have on my brain lately! Of course I'm still highly invested in my studies right now, so I thought, why not do a little online window shopping? *wink* I'm always so inspired by outfit collages out there, so I decided to take a stab at it myself.
This season I super excited for all the bright and crazy prints to come back. When I'm first transitioning back into Spring though, it's safe to say, that florals are a great gateway print. I found these Jonathan Saunders pieces and was completely inspired to collage an around them. The print is easily wearable and the colors are spot on! (Also, you can tell from my blog, my new favorite color seems to be golden yellow lately).
What's inspiring you this season?
I was flipping Elle magazine's fall/winter 2013 accessories issue, when I came across the work of Alessio Bolzoni, and I fell in love.
His work as been featured in Marie Claire, Grey Magazine, Lurve, Nowness, and my personal favorite, Harper's Bazaar. I just love how his photos really demonstrate movement, the person on the go, and drama.
